Job Overview
Job Purpose:
The Client is looking for a Building Maintenance Craftworker who will carry out building repairs, maintenance and renewals ranging from emergency and other routine reactive repairs and refurbishment work in occupied and void housing properties and other premises in accordance with best trade practice and to current standers and regulations. Carrying out works to a consistently high standard of quality and customer satisfaction and complete works ‘Right First Time’. Undertake all aspects of building repairs, maintenance and renewals within own trade discipline ranging from routine reactive repairs to major renewals and refurbishment work in occupied and void properties.
Main Responsibilities:
- Carry out building repairs, maintenance and renewals in other trades related to and associated with own trade discipline in a proficient manner.
- Keep in regular contact with Repairs Team Supervisors and Planners to provide updates on the progress of work and ensure repairs are completed Right First Time.
- Ensure safe methods of working and full compliance with health & safety regulations at all times. Maintain up to date knowledge and understanding of current standards, regulations and best practice.
- Responsible for the efficient and cost effective use, storage and safe keeping of plant, materials and other consumables and minimise waste in the completion of work.
- Carry out all work to a consistently high standard of quality, performance and productivity and ensure the best value for money is achieved in completing work.
