Job Overview
Job Purpose:
A Project Manager will be working in the housing delivery team which is within the Economic Growth and Housing Delivery Directorate. You will be part of a team delivering housing led major regeneration projects for the Council. You will be working on regeneration schemes on Council owned housing estates that are delivering 600 new homes, commercial units, park, public square and a energy centre. The Council has a ambitious delivery programme and the role is not limited to these project.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing specific areas of housing regeneration projects and ensuring they are delivered in line with the Employers Requirement for the project.
- Assisting in the handover of units from the developer to housing management ensuring all documents are in place.
- Manage and chair meetings with key internal and external stakeholders including, but not limited to, resident meetings, draft and circulate papers
- Ensure Corporate strategies are effectively implemented within housing regeneration project.
- Reports are prepared, distributed / presented to the appropriate committee / to the required timescales and standards.
- Assist in contributing to the production of stakeholder engagement programmes and strategies. Ensuring these are in place for the projects and delivered, achieving the Council overall objectives.
- Ensuring the project is managed within agreed resources and to agreed quality parameters.
